FOLLOWING THE GULF STREAM
COASTAL SCENES
Winding its way from the southern climes, the warm current of the Gulf Stream follows the Atlantic coastline of America from Florida flowing north into Canada. Along the way the water changes from balmy azure to the steel blue-gray waters that crash onto the rocky shores of Maine and Nova Scotia. The change of flora, fauna and light in the coastal landscapes lends its own interest and appreciation of this beautiful country that we live in. Each piece is developed from several points of view, based on sketches and visuals and arranged with aesthetic compositional principles of the Painters Secret Geometry and a modern eye for conscious abstraction within the picture plane that captures the essence of a specific place and a moment in time.
